WHAT DOES WASHA MEAN?
Washa means “bring to light” in Swahili
WHAT WAX DO YOU USE?
All our candles are made from 100% soy wax which is natural and renewable. Soy wax produces a cleaner, longer burn, and excellent fragrance experience.
WHAT FRAGRANCE OILS DO YOU USE?
All our Fragrance Oils are paraben-free and phthalate-free which makes them safer for you and the environment. Our fragrances conform to the International Fragrance Association Standards (IFRA) and are safe to use in candles and on the skin if ever in contact.
ARE YOUR WICKS LEAD/ZINC-FREE?
Yes! All our wicks are constructed from natural flat cotton threads and are lead and zinc-free.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?
Allow 1-3 days after purchase for your order to be processed and packed before it is shipped. Most orders are delivered within 2 to 5 business days from when processing is complete.
A shipment notification email with a tracking number will be sent as soon as your package ships. Please note, once a package is scanned by our carrier, the package is considered in transit and the shipping and delivery status is no longer within our control. DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Washa Candles are available in the United States and with select retailers across Nairobi, Kenya. We regret that we are unable to offer international shipping via our online store this time. Tag us on Instagram or email hello@washacandles.com to let us know where we should be stocking next.
I RECEIVED MY ORDER, BUT MY ITEM IS DEFECTIVE, MISSING, OR INCORRECT. WHAT DO I DO?
Sorry to hear that. We always aim to make every order perfect and trust that our carrier partners uphold the same quality standards. However, in the unique and rare occasion where your order is missing or you receive a defective or incorrect package please email hello@washacandles.com ASAP and provide as much detail on the error as possible (photos of the damage, order number, etc.).
Upon inspection, we will do our best to assist and rectify where possible.
CAN I CANCEL OR MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER?
If you would like to cancel an online order immediately after it has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible and email hello@washacandles.com and we will try our best to accommodate your request. We cannot cancel or change an order once it has been processed or shipped.
I RECEIVED A DAMAGED WASHA CANDLE. WHAT DO I DO?
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please send a photo to hello@washacandles.com and we will ship you a replacement right away.
