Lamu is easily Kenya's oldest town, established as far back as 1370. Today, Lamu is popular for calm/chill vibes and is a famous Yoga destination.

This is one of our favourite washa candles for aromatherapy, and the essential oils we use are great for stress relief, soothing anxiety, for smudging and purification. 🌿 When using this Lamu candle to smudge, it is advisable to keep a door or window open for some time to clear the space of the negative energy. Smudging is a cleansing ceremony that involves burning white sage in a manner that fills the home with the fragrance /smoke. It is used to clear negative energy from people, places, or even objects and can be done as often as needed.

All our scented candles are hand-poured in sustainable batches from Brooklyn, New York with a lot of care. We use soy wax and unbleached lead-free cotton wicks for an eco-friendly clean burn with no soot.
